April Lopes

   Hiiiii, I’m April! Im a Magical Makeup Artist and Expert Eyebrow Stylist at Platinum. I first started my career as a Makeup Artist in 2008 with a specialty in Bridal makeup. Through doing makeup, I truly feel like I found my purpose and that purpose is making people feel good on both the inside AND the outside. 

   One of my most favorite parts of doing makeup was how transformational an intentionally shaped eyebrow was. My love for eyebrows continued to grow and I began working as a Brow Pro Artist for Anastasia Beverly Hills, traveling to different cities educating people on how to properly fill in and shape their eyebrows with makeup. I knew I wanted to help shape people’s eyebrows further, so I got my Esthetician license in 2016 and have been specializing in eyebrow shaping since then! As of 2021 I became a Certified Body Art Practitioner and now offer Ombré Powder Brows which is a permanent makeup service. It’s all come full circle and it’s been so rewarding being able to give my clients their dream eyebrows that don’t wash off! 

   What I enjoy most other than getting to offer these transformational services, is the opportunity to provide a safe space for people to feel comfortable and be vulnerable and allow me to help them see themselves in the best way possible, whatever that means to them.
